January Shows - What are you doing?
 

The show schedules are a bit challenging for January so I'm curious if people are picking Vegas vs LA, LA vs Vegas, both or neither?

• Vegas Baby
• LA show only
• I'm a warrior! Both shows
• Staying home

Personally I will not be going to either. TopBucks will still have a presence at both shows.

One day in Vegas for CES and our www.pronparty.com January 10th
One night/Day in LA for Xbiz LA January 10th & 11th
One day at AEE in Vegas TBD

Personally, I will miss you and I miss the old Top Bucks dinners as well:winkwink:

I sure miss some people I can't meet in Europe and haven't seen for a bit though.

Scheduling is terrible. They forcing us to make choice. Should have been back to back. So us from the east coast forced to pick 1. Vegas or LA.. I would think most people would pick Vegas. There is also people there from affiliate summit and avn show. And, it's Vegas and my once a year FIX.

Like I said the timing is challenging. Here are the show dates:

1/8-10 - Affiliate Summit
1/9-11 - Xbiz LA
1/10-13 - CES
1/15-17 - Internext
1/18-21 - AEE

For people living on the west coast who want to attend multiple shows it's not a big deal but if you live on East Coast, EU or parts further it's not easy so I figured people are making a choice and I'm curious what it is for GFYers

Doing Vegas for nearly a week!

Internext and AVN Expo in Vegas for me.

Home sweet home. If both shows overlapped like last year, I'd do them, but individually they are not worth going to (for me).

Im doing 3 shows - Xbiz, InterNext and AVN Expo/Award Show.

Should be fun. I start on the 9th and end on the 23rd. OOOHHHH MY LIVER HURTS ALREADY

Just never had as good of a time at the LA shows... Half the attendees are locals but because no one lives near the show hotel it's always hard to even find people.

Like many other east coasters the dates force me to do one show or the other so I'll be in Vegas, my big debate is whether or not I stay a couple extra days for AEE

Same as most other GFYers, putting the dates inconveniently apart forces anyone not local to choose. Vegas is way more fun and it's 3 shows not 1, so Vegas baby!

I would like to attend Internext Expo, I heard it was a great gig last year.

Go figure, I was just sitting here discussing what I wanted to do and you put the poll up. :) I'm still trying to work out a way to do both.

I guess X-Biz wanted to tap into the Affiliate Summit taking place in LA, but other than that, I do not think it was a wise move to put their show so close to AVN's annual big show. :2 cents:

Not staying home and not going to any show...

Well, I AM biased, but that doesn't change the fact that while Vegas is always fun, XBIZ LA is a better show and investment for decision makers and stakeholders in 2012

If your business is making more money today than you can spend, then go to Vegas and piss it away at the tables, but if you want to be on the cutting edge of adult, then it's XBIZ LA

Why does everyone say this? You don't have to drink like an idiot every hour of every day you're here. Take a day or two off. A spa day can do wonders on a week long Vegas trip.

I was kind of kidding, but personally I never sleep well in Vegas man...even if I do not drink at all. There is just always a ton going on...especially during these January visits and the days end up running way long.

100% agree with you on the spa/massage visit :)
