Anti-Piracy?

I've been working on an Anti-Piracy acronym for a bit for some mainstream companies but haven't really tried it out on Adult Content.

I'm new to the industry and thought it would be nice to offer up a "beta" for a few months to tweak the software towards Adult Content. Would anyone be willing to receive free Anti-Piracy for FREE for a few months in exchange for some constructive feedback?

Thanks and sorry if I stepped on anyone's toes by being so upfront :)

The mainstream stuff is obviously NDA. Haven't worked with adult or anyone in this industry nor has the software. So was just seeing if anyone was interested.

Thank you

You might want to get an NDA, of your own, with whoever you release that to. You and your software will be ripped off faster than you can blink an eye in this business. :2 cents:

Thanks for the advice Eric! What I meant by software was a SaaS product aka it would remain independent of any company and remain on our servers. To clarify, it would be a hosted application with a to-be built web portal. Will try to weed people out who try to take advantage.

Obviously obfuscate/encrypt ... also, no matter where it resides it can be jacked in concept.
Cool deal and good luck with your venture man :thumbsup Like the military, one can always have multiple weapons in the arsenal.

funny how copyright holders who argue for absolute control of their work

have no problem jacking someone else's copyright protected work.

amazing how two faced these people are

one second arguing that you have to get permission from a song writer because they strung those words together in that sequence first

while arguing it perfectly ok to rip off the copyright protected market materials of a competitor to create a copy cat service.

SASCH 11-18-2011 05:32 AM

Anyone else?

SASCH 11-18-2011 01:23 PM

Bump bump

How am I jacking someone's work if I developed the product and simply haven't tried it on porn and want to? Learn to read.

lol you can be funny from time to time and that keeps me from adding you to my ignore list.
I won't be attending any shows in the US but I'll attend some European shows next year and I'll be doing some producing in the UK at the south coast, I'll have time to buy you a beer or 12 and after that you can piss on my shoes.

IMO, it would be best to approach some of the big guys 1 to 1.

Google some of the recent actions on copyright infringement and contact them, mostly offline companies, or go direct to someone like Eric @ Remove Your Content as he will know people who would be the best to test this.

Thanks for the feedback.

Like I said I don't want to step in anyone's "territory" per say resulting in the creation of enemies. So, yah. :) I'm not looking to snoop through anyone's client list and do so.

I'll see if any of the bigger companies are interested.

Thanks again. :thumbsup

No need to step on others toes, Eric might be just the person to partner with or some like him.

Look here for all the best news on people taking the fight to the pirates. http://www.xbiz.com/news/ http://business.avn.com/articles/ they will list all the people you need to contact.

Sadly, the parent company I work for doesn't really like "partnering" up.

I'll take a look. Have 2 more spots open for anyone interested.

Sorry but the more I read this, the more it doesn't make sense. :2 cents:

Ryan,

What are you not understanding, my goal wasn't to confuse anyone? I was responding to a poster who suggested I get in touch with you to discuss:
  • Potential Partnership
  • Who needs Anti-Piracy help

I then replied that our parent company had no interest in partnership with anyone at this time. Also, if you have an ICQ. I can shoot you a great resource we found that would work very well with your password service. :thumbsup

Was nice speaking with you on the phone, will send info later today so you can review it over Thanksgiving.

There is only 1 spot left, not accepting anyone else until the product becomes production. We reject some companies, it's nothing personal.
