Refunding upon receipt of Retrieval request?
I just noticed that along with my "charegeback debit advice" letters that I get by snail mail I also get some "retrieval requests".
Since I can't prove that I shipped anything (since I didn't) is it ok to issue refunds on these transactions? I mean, will it avoid a chargeback? |
discover retrieval requessts, simply send them the receipt with the cust. IP address and such and they will rule in your favor, visa and MC, best to just refund, but yes its ok to refund, just fax back the retrieval requests as instructed with the refund receipt so they know it was taken care of, other wise it will turn into a chargeback
