What Size of Banners?

Hi guys,
I am preparing some banners for my new website...and I wonder: What size are the most desired by webmasters? What size do you use? What other tools do you like to see in the affiliate programs? And in which size/format?

pm2000 11-20-2011 05:20 PM

468/60 are allways popular

MishaOLS 11-21-2011 02:11 AM

Ok thanks...does it mean I should make only these, or I should make all the fucking formats? And is there some technique to make one design and apply it for all sizes, or do you have to all the work again over and over?

300x250 are the best dimensions for an eyecatchy killer converting banner :-)

Thanks Avalana,
so the size is not always what catches and converts the most...?
I just made my first banners ever, would anybody be willing enough to take a look at them and give me some short feedback?
Thanks!

300x250. Everything else is a waste

MishaOLS 11-21-2011 09:49 AM

Thanks John, Ok it seems that we might be getting some consensus...will somebody add to that?

kazymjir 11-21-2011 04:34 PM

As previous people said, 300x250

MishaOLS 11-27-2011 01:47 PM

Great, will go for those and accustom according to need as time goes...

http://www.juicyads.com/campaigns_request.php

look on the right under "Available Inventory", shows ya what sizes webmasters have available currently through Juicy Ads so the top sizes in that list are more popular.

you could still do more since the site is new, don't wanna not have something for a rare few.

728x90
468x60
300x250
160x600
125x125
120x600
120x60

etc... but I agree 300x250 is the one I use 99% of the time.

You want auto resizing flash banners of course.

MishaOLS 11-27-2011 10:37 PM

@Erect media. Thanks buddy. I'll do all these sizes.

Yes, this is the answer I was looking for! :) Sure I want to do that, but how do I go about it? Even the most similar sizes such us 120x600 vs 160x600 will have different image sizes and so all of it I have to do manually till now. Is there some proper banner resizing tool/trick?
Thanks

728x90
