My New Blog...

First of all, this is my first attempt at anything remotely like this...

I was given a URL and this account from a friend of mine, and spent an entire week reading all over the internet what kind of adult site to start. I decided on a blog because I love to write, and I love porn!

I started it on a free blog host just to get my feet wet, and to learn what I am supposed to do. I feel though, that much of the information on the internet is misleading or simply a ploy to get money from me.

I want to attempt this on a zero budget until I have built up a fan base that can constitute a custom site of my own.

I figured I would make a porn blog that caters to the woman, but is also great for the guys to come to as well. I wanted to produce well written and custom articles that focus on adult issues and entertainment. Through out the article I plan on putting up user submitted media and sponsored media.

I figure I could sell my articles to other blogs if all else fails, however I think because I am trying to make the blog a bit more interactive and offering a feminine touch I might be able to fill a niche.

Of course this might be just a huge waste of time... But at least it didn't cost me anything and I can get some experience.

Perhaps someone can give me a list of sites and information that isn't out to take my money but something that I can really learn this business from?

Please let me know what you think of this blog, I am VERY limited on design and everything because its free, but I want the content to be tops!!!!

Thanks!

Look to make your blog a lot more niche and specific than it is. Think about a few specific niches that you want to focus on and make separate blogs for each one.
Do a lot of keyword research and write articles that strike a good balance between being rich in keywords but not spammy and full of good, original content.
Build backlinks like crazy. A good way to do that is to submit to directories and to join Linkspun and trade links there.

Also, look to register domain names for your blogs and fork out a few bucks for hosting. You can get a really good shared hosting account which is fine for your needs in the range of five to ten dollars per month....stay away from free hosting.
