This stuff has been happening for years. Nothing new. You can buy anything you want on chinese sites like alibaba, dhgate etc - counterfeit music, clothing brands, shoes, perfume,designer bags, dvd box sets, wheels, iphones... anything you can think of. This was a wide spread problem on Ebay years back until they started arresting people one by one.
