I can't tell. You're going to have to ship some of that to me so I can see it.

L-Pink 11-28-2011 09:52 PM

Yea but still very nice.

Thanks! That's pure led lights and not even the right colors for flowering

Jakez 11-28-2011 11:59 PM

You can use LED's? Didn't know that.

mchacal 11-29-2011 12:06 AM

Yes you can, this is what I'm using http://www.ebay.com/itm/90W-UFO-LED-Grow-Light-420-7-1-1-Hydroponic-660nm-/400259454965?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5d3152 97f5

Is this your first time growing? You can judge the maturity of your plant by looking at the trichomes under a magnifying glass... 50% amber is usually a good time to harvest.

Seen that pic somewhere before, some of the growers around here need to do their research lol. But, shouldn't the 3rd/4th pics be switched?

tical 11-29-2011 01:39 AM

I think the last pic is just an example of how both would look together... but yeah, they probably should be switched to avoid the confusion

Do you use growth enhancers? They could be a big bigger, maybe 2inches :2 cents:

8 or 12 week turnover?

Solace 11-29-2011 10:21 AM

Quality > Quantity

mchacal 11-29-2011 11:20 AM

Yes first time ever growing and yea I know I have to look at the trichomes under a 100X magnifying glass.

Vendzilla 11-29-2011 11:31 AM

so much easier to throw seeds in the back yard and water

You also have to get the lighting & chemical mix right at different times of the growth :thumbsup

If you have any questions to get it right, hit me up... I know the right people if you know what I mean :pimp

Not sure that works in Canadian winter

LeRoy 11-29-2011 11:42 AM

Here's my friends crop

Week 10 using LED lights, taken a few weeks ago and tasted pretty good.

I was skeptical when I heard about the LED lights but it came out fine :thumbsup

Yeah probably not, t shirt weather here

SuckOnThis 11-29-2011 11:56 AM

What strain is it? LED's are good for veg but they lack the intensity needed for hefty flowers. I'm sure it'll be fine if its just for personal use.

What strain? Different strains = different sizes.

It's WW and the poor plant suffered a lot, we had a flooding at home few months ago and I had to leave it in the backyard for few weeks while workers were repairing everything.

This growing it's just for fun, I get such a good price on weed that it's not worth growing so I just do it as a hobby

nm_ 11-29-2011 12:22 PM

they look about the right size for a stressed plant under leds. stress slows down the flowering process siginificantly, especially for picky strains. growing under LEDs really isn't good for producing weight either. they do save on energy costs, but their output is horrible. look into metal halide / high pressure sodium lighting solutions if you're looking to get into serious indoor growing.

st0ned 11-29-2011 01:22 PM

What strain is it? Some strains obviously have much lower yields and smaller colas than others.

I am about to start my first indoor grow with two 1000watt HPS/MH bulbs. I have a handful of good high yielding strains and by following the techniques in "Secrets Of The West Coast Masters" I am shooting for a yield of 1lb per plant per harvest.

I have read about doing it with LED but without spending a lot more money than I currently am on the setup didn't seem as though I would be able to produce the same yield with LEDs.

Edit: Just saw you said the strain is WW. Assuming that's White Widow it is known to have lower yields than other strains.

Agreed... :thumbsup

My mates, by week 10 are about 4foot high under 20 300watt metal halides, already hit on sodiums & filling the 30mtr2 room :winkwink:

LeRoy 11-30-2011 01:04 AM

Fresh pics from my bro's techy starter area :thumbsup

3 weeks under LED lights

Started with (lowrider) seed :)

Flowers early so its done in 55 days :pimp
