What script to use to run a big network of blogs?
What would you suggest to use to run a big blog network consisting of hundreds of manually updated blogs?
I thought wordpress might be a good option, but how about updating it, posting to hundreds of blogs etc ... IS there some solution where you could manage the blogs from one place? Like compose a post, then pick what blog to post to and do it with a single click. Or when there is an update available - update all blogs at once... Thanks. |
Yes there is i have such script.

Are you on multi domains or using WPMu?
There is a plugin that lets you post to multi blogs for Mu - I cant remember what is called - It is easy to find though. You can also use Mu to mange blogs on any number of domains with another plugin. |

xmarkpro is so much more, with built in statistics, tracking and so on.
managewp is more of "only" blog management, like upgrades, plugins, comment handling and so on. xmarkpro is built by Matt Kiopa who posts here on GFY, no clue of who the guys behind managewp are. |

This has been asked multiple times in the last few weeks.

If you're on a Mac, Mars Edit lets you do all the posting from one piece of software, add as many blogs as you like. As you add blogs they appear in a blog list in the left hand pane of the software. In the two main panes you can add posts, images, other media and then with one click post to one or more blogs.
