Domain asking price too much, what next?
What do you do if a domain you have an eye on is being hoarded by a cyber suatter who is asking for way too much ($15,000) just forget about it or stalk the domain in case he slips up?
I quite like the domain, made an offer of $5,000 |

good luck, some people are stupid :2 cents: |
Give up and find another domain! I wanted to buy a misspelling of one of my domains and the guys asked for $10k... he's on crack and the site will continue to have a blank page on it.

The question is How much is that particular domain really worth to you, each person has their own price they are willing to pay for a domain/site.

It has gotten a bit stupid the buying and reselling of domains in so far as market prices
|
Just spend the 15k

I would look for a different one if you don't have the cash, there is a ton of good domains being dropped that people don't renew.
Just make note of the expiration date, and find someone that can catch it for you for a fee if they don't renew. I watched a domain that was in redemption period 10 times a day for almost 2 months straight and was still unable to register it, luckily someone on here with skills got it. I knew who he was on here, and I had no problem paying 25x reg fee = $250 but I was not going to much more... In adult you can get register another keyword domain that is close. |
