It was involuntary manslaughter. They threw the book at him.

pornguy 11-29-2011 11:07 AM

I think he got off a bit easy. Does he lose his license as well?

He got the maximum sentence for involuntary manslaughter.

blackmonsters 11-29-2011 11:27 AM

I think he did some wrong things but I also believe Michael Jackson was in charge.
He did what the rich man told him to do.

MJ probably did not want any equipment around that would make it obvious about
what he was doing.

Rochard 11-29-2011 11:32 AM

I'm not a huge fan of MJ - not by a long shot. But there is no denying what he was, both good and bad. Four years is getting off easy.

you-big-dummy 11-29-2011 11:39 AM

He's in the SHU (Special Housing Unit), better know as Protective custody / PC or more comely known as Punk City.

billywatson 11-29-2011 11:40 AM

I think 4 was the max, and I think his license is gone, and I think he won't spend much time in the slammer...which is a shame.

And for the record, MJ is wretched.

Bladewire 11-29-2011 11:41 AM

By law, he'll be out in 2 years :thumbsup

"..the crime of involuntary manslaughter is NOT considered a serious felony under California law, and thus carries only a 50 percent requirement. What that "requirement" means is that only 50 percent of any sentence must be served behind bars." * SOURCE *

Why is that? Should sentences be based on the victim, the perp or the crime?

doctors take an oath to get their license, it doesn't have a section for how much money the patient is paying.

If you came to me as a friend and said you couldn't sleep and i sold you some prescription drugs that were from my grandmas medicine cabinet and you died i would likely be charged, the difference is i never took an oath and i don't know what the effects might be from taking those drugs.

The doctor prescribed drugs that he shouldn't have, he should get the same time as any other drug dealer , just for that.

If i sold a bag of oxy's to a cop i would be looking at some major jail time, what he did was basically the same thing except the drugs were way more powerfull than oxy's and he sold alot more of them and he knew better and his victim died..

Yes, Michael was in charge and Conrad was hooked on the money, both were addicted to something :2 cents:

Seems kinda light considering he will be out in two

CDSmith 11-29-2011 12:05 PM

He got the max. Out in two I would think.

It'll likely take him 2 years to write the book anyway.

Medical Lic gone in the state of Cali. He also holds the distinct pleasure of being punched in the face on sight. You wanna live your life like that? ` Rock and roll.
He flushed his career down the toilet!

Chris 11-29-2011 12:08 PM

the max for a first time offender?

some judge is looking to make a name for their self

LeRoy 11-29-2011 12:09 PM

100 million in fines too.

He'll need to write a few books and do monthly jail interviews to pay that off
