We are writing to let you know of some changes the IRS has made that may affect your account. The new regulations (per IRC Section 6050W) stipulate that we are now required to file Form 1099-K for many of our clients. If you are a U.S. based company that exceeds $20,000 in gross processing volume with more than 200 total transactions for any given tax year as of 2011, a 1099-K will be filed.
The IRS is just making sure everyone pays every cent. Slaves until the day you die, then you have to pay a death tax.

The good news is, for any of you (in the USA) who don't make over $20,000 in any given tax year, don't have to worry about it.

Yeah from what I understand for every account that makes more than 20k.

We got the same info from paypal about 1.5 months ago.

I understand that the US Government needs money, but right now, this will hurt the economy more than help them.

Hrmm. wonder if they will let me pay my death tax in advance so I can save a few bucks on it.

Pre Paid sort of.

Everyone already knows that when I die here in Thailand, just burn me at the nearest temple like they do everyone else, or in the field where no one will know about it. I don't care, I'm dead.

I'm not sending my body to the USA, and don't even care if they report my death to the embassy or not. Fuck 'em. US gov will get shit from me when I go. If I have my way, I'll go out as a "missing person."

Some mainstream affliates are starting to ask for tax info even if you are outside of the US

Hosgator sent out an email asking for this info last week

I'm just glad the 1099 provisions in Obamacare got repealed. I wad NOT looking forward to filling out 1099s for the electric company, the landlord, newegg, the cable company, the datacenter, the phone company, and everyone else we spend money with.

It kind of sucked that after spending an hour gathering and scanning documents for Paxum they said they didn't family because Texas issues incorporation in black and white.

It seems to me the the US had become not a democracy but a bureaucracy.

DVTimes 11-29-2011 03:14 PM

is this for those in the usa?
