Need some Canadian assistance

I need to send a gift to a friend in Ontario. I intended to purchase it from Best Buy but they will not ship it there. WTF Eh?

So, where do you moose fuckers shop online for electronics?

Raja 11-29-2011 04:49 PM

http://www.tigerdirect.ca

alias 11-29-2011 04:51 PM

Take a look at http://www.futureshop.ca

Elli 11-29-2011 04:52 PM

BestBuy is in Canada these days, but I believe it acts as an arm of Future Shop.

That's a big problem. I tried to buy a Canadian an Ipad a few days ago. I tried the Candain Apple site & the US - no go.

Called Apple & they said the only way is to buy it, ship to me , then ship to Canada - sucks!!!

Its because you have an american credit card. We have the same issue when trying to buy something from canada and shipping to the usa. If you have paxum I will help you out. Shoot me an email.

that's retarded - i buy products/gifts off Amazon as a Canadian from Amazon's US site and have them ship to American addresses no problem.

really surprised the Canadian Apple site won't let an American buy a gift for a Canadian off their Canadian site.

SmokeyTheBear 11-29-2011 04:59 PM

all good moose fuckers shop at tigerdirect

I agree, because I will be taxed and then it will be taxed by Canada on the way up

It's not the credit card, it's shipping and customs. Buying from the US and shipping to Canada is a lot of paper work and extra expenses.

The best thing to do is to order from a Canadian retailer and ship from that location to the Canadian address. If you can't get to it online (bestbuy.ca for example), place the order by phone. Your US credit card will be accepted no problem, shipping will be fast, and you won't have to worry about customs.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I tried TG but they only had CA billing options online. Called them up and got it sorted over the phone as Mark has suggested.

bestbuy.ca?

Apple won't accept it on the phone same with Tiger. I'd be willing to bet Best Buy is the same.:2 cents:
