Google, Facebook Ordered to Delist Fake Sites
A US Judge has ordered Google, Yahoo, Twitter and Facebook, among others, to delist domain names linked to websites selling counterfeit goods.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-15959882 This could be the start of many delisting orders :2 cents: |
when they crack on youtube (useruploads), they will then delist illegal tubes... so not in close case...
|
the usa fucking everything up again

good luck with this. will probably get a few out but still tons remain

So, it happened, now "They" will decide which sites will be listed in Google and which not. I've always knew it's a good idea to get independent from Google traffic. But the ways how to achieve that are very problematic and complex. Things are getting more and more difficult. Only strongest will survive.
Of course if it was only about truly counterfeit goods that would be a good thing, but I'm afraid they might not end only on these ones. |

simply not enforceable... how will they make google but not all search engines?
this type of ruling is ridiculous. |

Starts with something small then they will want to delist anything they don't like.
