Smoke weed?

Do you smoke the stuff? :rasta

As a Canadian it's part of my national identity.

I am Canadian and wish I could. It just fucks me up in all the wrong ways. I sip the beer and the wife inhales the weed. We have a happy marriage because I don't touch her weed and she doesn't touch my beer.

Every brain is different, but i have seen some shit.

Zoxxa I have a buddy who has schizophrenia in his family. He actually goes through weird phases and is a different person when he tokes. Its actually uncomfortable and a bit scary to be around.

Mine are physical, intense heart beating and chest pains. Extremely hard time swallowing, I will smoke and then try to eat anything and it all gets stuck in my throat like I have no control of my tongue and swallowing. I don't mean normal weed symptoms where things change a bit, I sometimes choke on my own spit lol. Although all I do now is drink alcohol once in awhile, I enjoy almost all major drugs except marijuana, it is a bad feeling for me.

My father was the same way, when I was a kid at my friend's bday party, my father went in the house with another father and smoked a joint. They had to call the ambulance because he thought he was having a heart attack.

I was told marijuana effects are largely based on your blood type. Not sure if that is true. I am "O Negative".

If i don't take the right amounts, over a day or so i forget who i am and come up with these fucked up decisions and ideas.

I think that is why the shit is not legal 100%.

People say there is nothing wrong with it, only bad thing is it's a "gateway drug" which over time would get someone to do another drug. I'm pretty sure i can prove that wrong with a bong rip.

I don't know, but that shit fucks me up. I had a freak out once where i just got super weak all of a sudden, started sweating then i blacked out for 3 or 4 mins. That was just trying to keep up with the people i was smoking the shit with. They told me i have a low smoke tolerance because the gland in my brain overloads or some shit. If i remember correctly i was trying to swallow and swallow then i all of a sudden felt sick to my stomach and that's when shit hit the fan.

They are pretty much pros when it comes to that kinda stuff so the way they explained it sounded pretty scientific and understanding. I also get what you have explained above if not worse. That's kinda why i made this thread. Not because I'm high but because i want to know from other people. I think when you get old, you stop smoking weed for the exact reasons you said above.

k_rock 11-30-2011 09:43 PM

The whole gateway drug is ridiculous. Marijuana has some great benefits but its just not for everyone.

I can honestly say i have tried a lot of different drugs because i smoked pot. Kinda wanted to get a different high, meet "cooler" people and play games with my mind.

I think Marijuana can be for anyone, it just really depends on the amounts taken? No? I'm a pussy smoker. 20$ of the shit can last me a good while smoking daily and maintaining a perfect high. Sometimes 9 or 10 days.

I agree and disagree. It's not marijuana thats the problem, but when I was 13-15 all the hot girls were smoking weed and I was considered the main jock in the school. So I felt pressure to smoke and try different drugs to fit in with the girls I wanted to be with or hang out with. Smoking weed is not the problem, it's the type of people around you that use it that cause the gateway to other things.

Not true, my wife was in a serious car accident when she was a teenager and had glass stuck in her head that did damage to her veins. She suffers from constant migraines. She has taken prescribed pills for so long they do not work anymore so she smokes with the Vapezilla. She could smoke weed for 2 days straight and you would NEVER guess she ever touched it, she functions everyday life perfectly. I am a logical thinker that codes web apps and software apps and she is a quicker thinker than I am when she is "stoned".

I smoke weed for my constant migraines as well. Marijuana is a pretty powerful topic and you can pick out the true idiots by their answers when asked something about pot or pot related. Example: Babaganoosh. Just sayin' LOL

Depends on the person and their level of weed abuse.

I do not smoke weed, have done way back when, but not anymore. I do however have to deal with people who abuse the shit out of weed and they are an absolute nightmare to deal with. Lazy as all hell, irrational - the list goes on.

However like I said - depends on the person.

I used to smoke marijuana for years but stopped primarily because I developed a chronic cough from smoking (I have never smoked tobacco, only cannabis).

For nearly ten years I did not consume marijuana. However, in the past few years I have been beset with a number of health issues, which includes chronic pain symptoms, and since I have an aversion to pharmaceutical pain medicines, I decided to give cannabis another try.

This time though, I have tried to limit myself to using a vaporizer and consuming edibles, instead of smoking. I'm happy to report that not only did I start feeling better, but as of last February, I stopped drinking alcohol, and since that time, my weight has dropped 70+ pounds, my systolic and diastolic blood pressure readings have decreased dramatically, and I am feeling healthier overall than I have for the past few years (cannabis is not curing my health issues, but I feel better nonetheless).

I strongly recommend that anyone whom consumes marijuana on a regular basis, seriously consider vaporizing or edibles as alternatives to smoking marijuana. :2 cents:

Legalize marijuana... :stoned

Sounds like a great weight loss plan, when are you going to market it ?:pimp

anexsia 12-01-2011 02:14 AM

I used to smoke it whenever I was dope sick, helped take away the skin crawling feeling.

I was concerned when I started consuming cannabis again that I would have the munchies all of the time, however I've found that it is just a matter of discipline, a little exercise, and eating better, without completely sacrificing some of the fun things (my wife is jealous about the brownies and other goodies I consume, since she doesn't like cannabis).

Even though pot brownies have a fair amount of calories depending upon how you prepare them (THC bonds to oil), you only need one brownie to satisfy you all day.

Most of my weight loss I attribute to not drinking alcohol. You can pack on a lot of liquid calorie weight drinking as much, and as frequently as I did. Strangely enough, I experienced no alcohol withdrawal symptoms. Perhaps the marijuana eased that. I'm certain that my liver is happier and healthier, and no doubt my blood pressure is vastly improved as a result too.

I am A Negative and suffer the same effects as you. I am a one hit wonder. I can smoke just a tiny, tiny hit and get completely loaded. If I smoke an entire bowl my heart will race. This is due to rapid lowering of blood pressure. It can be accompanied by heart palpitations.

I have found that smoking indica strains are better for me. Sativa strains literally make me feel like I just snorted several lines of cocaine! Instead of chilling I become hyper and exhibit the symptoms above.

I get that sometimes lately. Strange thing is, i never used to. I think maybe anxiety plays some kind of role in it because when that happens once, you think its gonna happen again next time and then worry about it..i can't seem to drink alcohol and smoke weed at the same time anymore. it makes me very lightheaded after only a couple of beers but if it just smoke weed or just drink beers, it doesn't have that effect.

indeed. i had a 'friend' who get all kinds of crazy when he'd smoke. he would imagine we were saying bad things about him and get all upset or start going on about how his clothes are bothering him and he'd want to take them off...very strange. he freaked me out.
