We talk about religious tolerance but how tolerant is religion?

People have been killing people in the name of religion for thousands of years. Calling them tolerant, peaceful, friendly or kind is only something they have been trying to brainwash people into believing for the last few hundred years. Give them time.. they are working on it..

It's ironic that we are constantly told to tolerate the most intolerant people in history.

I gotta holler bullshit about this one... because they are tolerant, peaceful, friendly IF you do exactly what they tell you to do... just like Islamics :thumbsup

I did not even realize it was legal for churches to discriminate based on race.

They get away with telling sick people to stop taking their medicine so why not this?

My brother's wife has a friend who got married when she was 18. She was big into church and the church was very proud of her for waiting to have sex until marriage etc. Most of the church came to her wedding and many of them helped her and her new husband move into their place after the honeymoon.

Two years later when they realized that they got married way too young and got divorced none of them showed up to help her move back out and they even told her that she was still welcome at church, but that they would appreciate if she didn't talk about her "situation."

Had she shacked up with the dude she would have realized it wasn't going to work and saved everyone including herself and her family a ton of time, heartache and money. Pretty crazy world we live in.
