Don't be so cocky. My uncle smoked all of his life. A decade after he quit, he had lung cancer. Serious, but operable.

After endless treatments, he was eventually free of cancer. It seemed that he'd bought himself a few more years. We all expected him to be heading home soon.

Unfortunately, the "medical professionals" in charge of his recovery inserted his shunt incorrectly, and he quietly drowned to death one night in his own fluids.

This man was a psychiatrist at Warkworth Penetentiary. He raised a devoted, loving family. He built a home (just outside of Campbellford, ON.) with his own hands.

He survived cancer, but he died because some dumb cunt improperly inserted a tube.

When I quit cold turkey I had one relaps on day 3 where I dug someones butt out of an ashtray in the hall in the apt complex. But then I made it from then on.

I think i was also smoking herbals then so as I say, that helped go cold turkey on the Winston Lights :)

$10 a carton (10 packs) when I quit in about 1981.
