"Why the Adult Entertainment Industry Is Adopting a New Position?
The headline in The Fearless Group?s first ad for .xxx, the sponsored top-level domain from ICM Registry, is cheeky, but the underlying message is not.
?Why the Adult Entertainment Industry Is Adopting a New Position? reads a block-lettered headline in the print ad, which broke in today?s editions of the Los Angeles Times and the Financial Times. What follows is 47 lines of earnest copy (?We also feel it?s high time the adult entertainment industry was recognized for the responsible, proactive stance it?s now taking online.?) and four subheads, including ?A few searching questions? and ?Support, not just responsibility.? The last line includes the company?s website address and the message, ?.xxx coming now.? http://www.adweek.com/news/advertisi...-domain-134652 about time someone spoke up for the adult entertainment industry. |

Unless we take it up full time and it's not blocked. It has a chance. Once people type in the extension they'll see the truth. Don't put porn on .xxx sites, don't link to them, don't promote them and they will die. Fletch can sell them designs, it makes little difference. If porn producers and traffic people give them the cold shoulder. .xxx is doomed. |
Fletch .XXX industry ghetto designs vs Manwin properties.
Place your bets. |

wow just browsed in here real quick curious about the article and I see i have been mentioned twice already. LOL

:1orglaugh I have no illusions ... |
I think they mainly want to get their name out there among the public so that more people will go "Hey wouldn't it be a good idea to require all porn to be on that there new .xxx extension so it is easier to protect kids?" The more people who are aware of it the greater the chance of it happening and being suggested. All the mainstream companies doing defensive registrations is probably a nice bonus but I think their endgame is clear.

Yay! More cut and paste without an opinion expressed! Awesome show! Great job!
