Who watched Weed Wars?
If this is California's cannabis industry spokesman; I don't have a lot of hope for them.

i agree, when i was watching it i thought that they could have probably come up with a couple people that seemed more professional about it.
the biggest argument people make against medical marijuana is that it is being abused by people just looking to catch a buzz... which i agree they make up probably 80% or greater... but there are some people that really need it... they should have focused more on that instead of cashiers that are growing their own just to get high, and owners of this shop that are taking bong hits just to "feel normal", which they say is a proper justification for medical marijuana. i toke everyday, and i am 100% behind legalization... but damn these guys are not the poster children for legalized weed. eating pot before making speeches... running to the secret stash after losing the tax battle.. taking bong hits to sleep at night... the whole show casts a bad image on weed. actually not really.... it paints the perfect picture of a bunch of pot heads getting around the system by claiming to be doing something medical... while i can appreciate it, its definitely not doing the medical cause any justice to have this show on the air http://cdn2-b.examiner.com/sites/def...72fe2febfe.jpg |
I saw that show - everybody seemed a little whacky.

It's mainstream tv. You expected something other then sensationalism gossip and filth?
But, the people willing to risk getting involved in either a borderline criminal activity, or a mainstream dirt show, are going to tend towards the disreputable. You know, like pornslingers. The same producers could make us look just as creepy, no problem. |
