Check out what I just saw! [PIC]
Was driving down my driveway heading to 7-11 and noticed something up in the tree. After grabbing my cam and snapping some shots, he looked like he was ready to attack me!
Never seen an owl outside of a zoo but always hear them hooo'ing around here. :1orglaugh http://i.imgur.com/RdSqU.jpg |

They are cool looking birds

Owls are definitely cool and interesting to look at, if you're lucky enough to see one. I've only seen an owl once, and I'm always hiking, camping, etc. But, that first pic is actually kind of scary, lol. I might stop watching and starting backing away slowly.

I'm in Louisiana and we have an owl that lives right around my house somewhere. At night, he'll fly by and my older German Shepherd gets really pissed. The dog jumps growls and barks and follows the owl as it flies over our yard. I wonder what the history with those two is...maybe the owl swooped down and took something that he was chasing. ;-)
