Great Season so far.

Jimmy's mother is a nutball (always thought that but last episode confirmed it).

I say a lot of people are going to die next episode.

Jimmy's probably going to die.

I hope not. I hope Nucky dies or goes to jail. I've never been able to fully believe Buschemi in that role. Even when he was on the Sopranos he wasn't good.

I think Jimmy is the best character on the show. All of his scenes/plots are interesting. In Season 1, some of the best episodes/scenes happened when he was in Chicago.

I was also really hoping he choked his mother out... "I'll remember!"

recorded it all to watch it during Christmas! Shhhhhh! no spoilers!

I have news for you, he beats the case and lives, believe it or not.

That scene (Jimmy Kills Commodore) was intense, very theatrical.

Nucky is probably going to get off of the murder charges bc. of that crazy cop!

Doubt they would have spent all last episode on Jimmy and his mother if they were going to kill him off but who knows.

Jimmy's character is a huge part of that show, he's not going anywhere. They didn't kill of Tony Soprano in the second season of The Sopranos morons.

poindexter's predictions for the season finale:
1- van alden solo raids the big meeting with doyle, all the gangsters, and all that money. He kills doyle, and is then killed.
2- nucky marries margaret to keep her from testifying.
3- richard kills manny.
4- jimmy kills richard.

As long as Jimmy's half face guy lives and is featured more I don't really care. He's easily my favorite character.

If Doyle dies, it will be from Jimmy for selling him out (he told Manny where his beach house was).

I wouldn't be surprised if Richard kills Jimmy or Richard kills Jimmy's Mom.

I say van Alden turns to Nucky and tells him about the big meeting.
Jimmy kills the butcher.
Jimmys mom does something nutty.
Margaret does something nutty that puts Nucky on the spot
Nuckys brother either dies or breaks out of prison and takes off with his family with money he gets from nucky

Interesting twist tonight

I like a show that has the balls to do something like that.

I really liked Dormady's character but gotta give them props for pulling something big like that only two seasons in. Loved the way they flipped Nucky too at the end, he went from a likeable character for the most part to someone a lot of viewers will no longer like. Should be an interesting 3rd season

Was there ever any doubt that he's a snake? Everything that comes out his mouth is a lie -- no matter who he's talking to.

I loved the season finale and the ballsy murder of Jimmy, a main character. But what the hell was that with Margaret at the very end? She has to know that giving away more of Nucky's property- valuable real estate this time- to the church cannot possibly end well.

I'll have to rewatch it. I wasn't happy that they killed off Jimmy.

I really have to give a thumbs up to Showtime, HBO, and Starz. They are putting out some really high caliber programs. I can't wait for the new crop of shows to start in January. I am especially looking forward to see Luck and of course I can't wait for season 2 of Game of Thrones to start in April. :thumbsup

Amazing first season - now Jimmys son owns all of the Admirals estate..but Jimmy's mom (sure to be the kids new guardian), will surely pick up where he left off.

I loved Torchwood, but this season on Starz was absolute crap.

This is such a great show, I've been watching this, sons of anarchy, and the walking dead...and boardwalk empire is just simply amazing.

You need to watch Boss. It's already had it's season finale though. It's a great role for Kelsey Grammer. Hopefully that will make up for Torchwood.

They also show teaser clips on Fridays, and their Fan Page on FB rocks too.

The necklace (Jimmy's Mom) scene and the horse (beach) scene were pretty tough to watch. Jimmy knowing he is going to die soon, Jimmy knowing his mother is going to molest his son, it's incredible acting and writing this entire series.

Richard, now knows that somethings off and Jimmy's Mom is f'd up, and I do not think he will let that slide, so I look forward to Richard whacking off Jimmy's Mom.

They signed for another season. :)

Correct, but Jimmy is not in history he is made up for the series.

Ballsy move to Kill Jimmy, sucks IMO though. Will still be interesting to see where they go with this.

First season of that show, it was my favorite thing on the air and I looked forward to each week. This season was disappointing.

I was watching Dealmakers of Atlantic City, not Women Who Ask Unreasonable Things in New Jersey. I hate what they have done with the Margaret character and I'm honestly just really bored with how soap opera that show went. I enjoyed it when it was all about people getting business done in an interesting period in time.

I think he knew his brother was full of shit, but Nucky did say in last week's episode something about "blood ties".

Also, did you notice that when he visited Jimmy at his house, he refused to have a drink with him? When he visited his brother (the scene on the porch), he accepted his drink. I don't think these things are accidents. The writers are responsible for the Sopranos also, and they would always add subtle things like that. It all means something.

If Nucky were just kinda cleaning house completely and did that, it would have seemed more logical.

I liked this whole season of Boardwalk Empire followed by this finale so little that I cancelled my HBO.

I couldn't kill the father of my nieces and nephews, besides Eli is no threat now and who says he 'chose' Eli? Eli is going to jail, and I doubt Nucky is done with him yet.
