**Attention Designers... CrakCash Gallery design contest, win $100 CASH and a contract!!!

Attention ALL designers...

CrakCash is looking to give a $1000 contract to a gallery designer and we've decided to do a contest to find the best on GFY.

The Winner of our contest will get $100 CASH (paxum or paypal) and a $1000 design contract.

To enter the contest, simply create a gallery, either pic or video (you can create as many as you want) based on one of CrakCash 9 niche sites, submit it in this thread and Monday the 12th at noon eastern standard time we will announce the winner.

The CrakCash affiliate area has all the content needed to create the designs, simply open an account here, look up the zipped content sets and get your design on ;-)

If anyone as any questions I can be easily reached via email, skype, icq or pigeon :upsidedow

Thanks and good luck to all designers who are entering this contest :thumbsup

nice promo guys

Zoxxa 12-10-2011 11:37 AM

Can you please clarify the $1000 contract?

For example, designers that are higher end and put hours into a professional gallery will not do each one for $10 like the cheap deals you may find around here. I am curious how many unique designed galleries you are excepting for $1000?

I will be submitting an entry later today, it would be nice if others did for some competition. :)

We will discuss with winner then amount of galleries we are expecting for that sum. And I do agree quality gallies are worth more then $10 each :winkwink:

No, the added c was to prevent others from copying my masterpiece.

My Gallery Entry: http://zoxxa.com/projects/crak/rbe_gallery_01/index.php

This was meant to be a mixed gallery with a nice HTML5 player that is compatible with mp4, webm, ogv and flv fallback which would also allow mobile streaming without the need for a new unnecessary mobile website. However, after the fact, I realized there are no videos for RealBlackExposed. So instead I replaced that section with a large attention grabbing thumbnail which could easily be replaced with a player in the future.

Gallery Features:

- HTML5 validation - http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...alidator%2F1.2

- Pure CSS, no html tables, with 100% commented div tags for easy source code navigation.

- CSS3 gradients on all backgrounds and buttons which eliminates many HTTP requests to the server for images, resulting in faster loading galleries and a happier, less stressed, server.

- Integrated support for gradients with IE9 (using SVG).

- Automatic fallback graphic images for browsers that do not support CSS3 gradients.

- By adding " ?t=blank " to the end of the url will force all paysite links to open in a new window. ( http://zoxxa.com/projects/crak/rbe_g...ex.php?t=blank )

- Clicking the "All Sites" button will slide down a jquery box featuring all of your websites.

- At the bottom of the page, you will see three tabs "Most Recent Girls", "Most Popular Girls", and "Top Rated Girls". You can browse between these sections by clicking each tab. On the live site, you could pull the data into these boxes dynamically or by calling static data from an RSS feed or other means.

Would have been nice to fiddle with the video thumb and sizes, but I had to use what was available.

Jman 12-12-2011 08:31 AM

We gonna give a bit more time for others to submit their galleries, thanks to those who've submitted some.

Will be a great money grab and looking forward to work with the winner.

which is all that matters. ive been doing galleries for clients over 10 years, and most of my old school clients who make the most sales get very simple galleries designed. LOL

all those paysite tour looking galleries are pretty but, conversions have nothing to do with that...

:thumbsup

I agree to a point, but I would give the most credit to content, not the design.

Great content gets clicked because they generate great attention grabbing thumbs on tubes / tgps / blogs / etc... Which in turn they will continue on to the tour more often than not to see more.

The design itself has a a small amount to do with conversions, however, what it does provide is a memorable experience in a branding sense. If they are consistently seeing a well designed gallery, they will remember it and are more likely to join the site if they realize they have enjoyed this website's content often. Simple galleries generally can not provide that, since they will not stand out unless it is a smaller niche.

Niktamer 12-12-2011 08:44 AM

That is the way to go IMO.

The galleries submitted here look great (really nice work), however there are too many options in each gallery.

For me personally, the FHG should have the content and a means to access the main site, none of this more / other images / whatever else. FHG -> join -> members.

really like it, including the features. If chosen, this gallery will have a high CTR (dunno about conversions). The only problem I see is the gallery looks way better than the site itself, so it might get a little confusing for people clicking the links

Thank you, if they decide to choose a different winner I will be using this to create my own paysite with it. So it's a win-win situation for me, it turned out well, I am happy with it. :)
