I always liked him. To be honest, I was surprised he was still living. I remember watching him on old Dragnet reruns when I was little. RIP

Loved some of the old cowboy westerns he was in

i have to admit: at the age of 96 death is not really surprising

but i have all seasons of MASH on DVD and i cant count how often i have been watching that

Sad day. Sigh.

It's not too surprising at that age. It's probably more surprising that someone makes it that long. I was watching MASH about a month ago and saw him in it and remembered seeing him through the years and just assumed he had already passed.

Sherman Potter's character was very similiar to my former boss I lost to cancer a few years back.
