AWESOME F1 coming to Texas in 2012 Video

If its going to be anything like this I just might give it a chance :winkwink:

Also, Red Bull has money to burn.

Good video but I don't think it will be in Texas next year. You might have to wait until 2013 :)

The video set the date as Nov 2012.

What makes you think it will be delayed?

They were delayed due to financing, but have restarted construction again. Supposedly, MotoGP will be there also starting in 2013.

At the final race this year Bernie Ecclestone said it was highly unlikely that they would be racing there in 2012, down to financing issues getting the track built.

I think he says these things publicly though to give the track owners a bit of kick up the arse so who knows :)

It has to be a huge undertaking to build a track of such magnatude and it sounds like they are aiming to create an amazing venue for both drivers and spectators.

Living in Florida it will be a stretch for me to make it to the Texas track but I'm going to do my best to see, hear and photograph at least one F1 race and this looks to be my best chance. Its going to have to be awefully good to get me to go a second time considering I only live 30 mins from the Daytona International Speedway which has just about everything but F1 :winkwink:

Oh that's good. Let's just hope they get their arses into gear and they don't have to cancel it.

It's the New Jersey race in 2013 I am really looking forward to. I love the road race element of it.
