Really? Who the fuck types in random domains anymore?

I cant remember the last time I went to a random .com, much less ended up on a porn site.

It's far from being a failure, in fact the hype is the highest I have seen since the big 3 extensions. .com, .net, and .org

The other new extensions over the years mainstream ignored, now mainstream will buy defensive to block, and buy because it looks cool and may sell it's products in different markets.

What is the xxx motto? Protect your brand.

Money grab from the start.

Legitimate porn sites have little interest in the triple X domains,:thumbsup

That person obviously doesn't understand the debate about xxx or even who is behind it. That looks like an SEO article and no more. It's obviously they put zero research into it. ICM isn't even mentioned. To the unwise it'd look like GoDaddy and ICANN are behind it.

Obviously

ContentPimp 12-11-2011 01:08 AM

xxx is a money brag for all the jesus worshippers... if someone really wants to 'fuck with a university's name" and make a porn site, they can make it on any extension LOL

i could do KUnurses.it or KUNurses.hu, etc - its impossible these retards will register everything under the sun LOL

or if shit hits the fan i can always do KUnurses1.com :D
lol

The .xxx tld sold approx 50000 registrations in the first 24 hours. The new Russian cctld sold 4 times a many in only 6 hours.

Really I don't think 50k in 24 hours is that impressive considering the $ they spent hawking the crap, I think that in itself is a failure.

I got this feeling as well. A little on the inexperienced side of the adult industry to be writing such an article.

CNN picked it up. http://edition.cnn.com/2011/12/12/te...ble/index.html
