Send a SALES support ticket so that it goes into the proper work queue. We can then review your custom request. A lot of people try contacting me via ICQ, and I rarely use IM's in general anymore.

We'll keep an eye peeled for the ticket.

And I do it again :)
You guys are so helpful and friendly with me, however for first you did not wanted to fully manage my account (the staff was not aware of the extra addition to the reguar package) and you also managed to talk me into a cpanel upgrade =D

The nameservers are propagating a bit slow, I should also add. But the server is quick, bandwith is huge - so I definetely recommend Rockstar VPS!

Did anyone get a special gfy deal with Rockstar VPS? Im interested in a dedicated server but the offer they have on the site seems to be a bit expensive for my budget. Are they maleable?

I did took their offer and I'm generally happy. The support is usually responsible, however first I needed to convince them that I do get all the benefits listed in this offer, as they did not believed it at first. Secondly they were a bit harsh at first on things I did not made, what they messed up but then it went all good.

The problem now is that their service is down now for the second time today... This is what I'm not happy about :(

Actually, you did not need to convince staff of any benefits. They simply were trying to figure out which of the promotional offers running you were talking about, as there were three or so going at that time. I believe it was a point of clarification.

As for the second issue, you already bumped other threads, and it was answered there.

You are on a shared resource. If someone is doing something nefarious, or their node/server is compromised, it can effect others until resolved. It would work the same at any hosting company.

Shall I qoute where a staff member declined my request of installing something, because as stated I'm on a non managed hosting, then stating that they were wrong as they are not believed that for that price sales is offering full management? :)

And as for the shared not shared thing: this is still cool, however what not cool is that, it stays this way. I mean bad guys should go, but like me with my static pages needed to be served, want to enjoy your services, which is still down :S

UPDATE: after almost 2 hours of outage, it seems to be getting back, hope for the best :)

As already stated in another reply, they were confused as to which plan you were signed up with since there were multiple promotions going on at the time. One of which was a free management upgrade (typically not offered on some of those plans). Once they were clear on which plan, and promotion you were wanting. The issue was resolved.

Additionally, bumping different sales threads will not speed up your support issue. I do not handle the support side of the equation. If you want updates or direct communication with those who are working on your issue. You would need to use the support ticket system. They would update you accordingly in regards to progress.

UPDATE: just received this

"Service has been restored to the affected node and Solus control panels. We did expect a 5 minute or less outage today but apparently the datacenter ran into some issue which we haven't been advised on yet.

We do not expect futher outages to occur.

Regards,

Rockstarvps"
