Staged or real?
 

Using an underexposed fisheye lens, photographer John Colbensen manages to capture this unbelievable moment while on vacation. Is this fake or real? How do you verify if this is real?

real if he fly with airplane and take shot in moment when this shit is coming in at big speed, so probably fake

Oh I forgot to mention, he was shooting from an airplane window.

I thought it was fake on first inspection....but if you look at his portfolio he has a lot of similar photos and I don't see any mention of photoshopping aside from color adjustments etc.


But that comet or UFO is just screaming fake to me.....Im gonna have to say real HDR photo with some creative license added.

Well he is either really really really TALL or has access to the space shuttle for photography.

Well the fisheye lens gives the horizon curvature which makes one think its taken at an altitude where the earth's curvature can been seen with the naked eye.

The object flying is just an aircraft with a contrail that is either natural or produced synthetically like they do in air shows.

The image has been manipulated in PS for things like color, saturation and contrast.

Its a nice view that is not common to the average person and his photographic technique allows the average person's mind to wander.

Because of the fisheye giving that major curve, but those clouds, colours & everything else... has to be fake or at least fake PS with a real image.

what is the bright blotch in the sky? i dont think thats what the sun looks like from space

Looks like a shot taken by a National Geographic photographer. I'm pretty sure I've seen that on a cover on some magazine - and I don't talk about dirty magazine - I have internet and we all know: INTERNET is for PORN.

I cannot believe this

It is probably a real photo but tweaked (heavily) in photoshop.

Looks like the start of the Big Bang to me.
