Is there any original content producers? I mean the people who other paysite owners would go to for buying sets and asking for custom productions etc. and if you may, how come you dont have your own paysites?

I shoot content, have my own site, and have licensed out to other sites with negative results so therefore no longer license anything out to anyone anymore.

Being that none of my competitors in the particular micro niche I am in can shoot as good as I can, it dilutes the market value to license content out to competitors.

You mean there is more to running a paysite than just putting up good content ? I am shocked.

I produce original 3D Toon content, AND I have my own program and sites (coughseecoughsigcough)

As it stands now, new packages will be split half will be strictly for sale, the rest will be strictly for my sites/program.

Shooting content & Operating a program/websites are two total different worlds!

I shoot content for websites and DVDs of other distributors and I distribute though my own sites. Doing both production and marketing is very time- and energy consuming though, still I would like to keep running my own sites, so I just need to get more staff. My mildest site is www.lezpoo.com the others are too extreme to mention here.

I've been shooting content for my own paysites since 2000. I've done some shooting for a few other people, but for how much work was involved, it wasn't that profitable at the time.

I'm planning to open a full-service studio later this year, and I will explore shooting for others again, but taking a different tact this time around.

How did I miss this thread the first time around? I'm a veteran porn director and content producer, dare I say one of the elite in the business. Besides shooting gonzo, reality and feature porn movies for many top online and offline companies, I also have my own DVD series and tv broadcast deals. I intend to launch or re-launch new web sites with my own content this year as well.

Been a producer and direct seller to the end user for over 30 years. Had a paysite long before most of these guys here. But it was in the beginning and it was too much bother. Started selling online via brokers mid 90s, opened our own stores 2001, opened the paysites 2005 I think.

Offline porn sales were the biggest earner, then stores. Paysites did nicely. You don't need to be a genius to generate traffic, proof is all around you. All you need is to find the people who do. Anyone who produces, runs a site and generates his own traffic. Needs to think about his business model. 3 entirely different skills. Madalton doesn't shoot, his partner does.

Been retired and an invalid over 3 years. Stores and sites still generate an income. For an idiot that takes some doing. :thumbsup
