I get more traffic and sales by not using mobile templates. Mobile people hate mobile sites.

no, they just hate the mobile sites that we give them. most companies / programs completely shit on their mobile traffic

I've got my phone set to look like it's a normal browser purely to avoid the mobile versions of sites.

that's fine, but it's harder to navigate that way opposed to most mobile versions. Considering we are working in sales here quick and easy navigation is essential for business.
