Doubtless many sponsors will include new "no payment for .xxx sales" clauses in their TOS

How many of them will block / refuse the traffic or the sales?

Try sending traffic to such "bold" programs from a .XXX domain. If you are NOT greeted by a "Sorry, surfer, we don't sell memberships to folks coming from .xxxx" page, then some folks might think that affiliates are being screwed...

FlexxAeon 12-17-2011 04:38 PM

yeah some folks that don't believe in reading TOS's

I think they'll take the sales, but just not pay you out as an affiliate

Indeed, if you illegally use their trademark, they won't pay you for doing so.

If you use our trademarks unlawfully, we'll do more than not pay you - we'll sue you, then we'll hunt you.

Would a company taking .xxx sales but not paying affiliates for them, be against .xxx, or against affiliates?

A lot of folks in this "business" get what they deserve.

And rightfully so.

I'm not defending trademark violators.

I'm thinking of companies posturing with a stance of "We won't do business with anyone related to or doing any business with .XXX (except our registrar, hosting, content and billing company and Google), and refuse to pay affiliates for any traffic sent from .XXX domains (but we'll be happy to take that traffic and keep the sales...)"

Is there such a company? Brazzers said they won't play if you register their trademark in a .xxx.
