This season was slow. I was used to a proper kill in the kill room every show. Not this season, but the ending was good. I bet Dex and Deb bone in the next season.

I was reading some of the reviews on Amazon about the books and some people were saying around the 3rd or 4th book that things get strange and it becomes very supernatural and odd. I don't think I will be reading them, but the girlfriend has said she is going to read the first one and see what she thinks.

Yep. Every season since at least trinity they've been toying with letting her know. I'm glad she finally does. I do wish she'd have know for a few seasons now.

But at least they succeeded in making me want to see the next season just to see how Deb acts about all this. I was about to give up after this season. Even fell asleep on the final episode. I've never fallen asleep on Dexter before.
