tabasco 12-19-2011 05:55 PM

where do you put the cassettes?

Theo 12-19-2011 05:59 PM

ZX Spectrum 48+

Mr Pheer 12-19-2011 05:59 PM

No cartridge slot? Where do I plug in my 300bps modem?

MrBottomTooth 12-19-2011 06:27 PM

Would be OK if they sold them at a reasonable price...but 999 for an atom based PC is a bit much. Or 1499 for the i7

raymor 12-19-2011 09:46 PM

That would be fun to mess with visitors.

bronco67 12-19-2011 10:16 PM

Great for people that want to relive the old days, when things sucked.

Nurgle 12-19-2011 10:24 PM

i want to play Epic again!

edgeprod 12-19-2011 11:19 PM

I'm all over this. I have several 64's and 128's in the attic that I am going to have to dig out now. Hope some of the disks and tapes still work ... And my fastboot cartridge!

mozadek 12-19-2011 11:33 PM

Looks dope but overpriced.

2MuchMark 12-20-2011 12:35 AM

I didn't, but I am thinking about buying a broken TRS-80 model 3 or 4 and re building it into a PC.

Chosen 12-20-2011 12:59 AM

If you come over we can connect my 1541 disk drive and load pitfall, ghostbusters or mission impossible, will only take 5 minutes to load, and if it doesn't work, we can still use my compact cassette player, will only take half an hour. :1orglaugh

The company that owns the Name and makes the product is a client of my father's company.

His partner, who manages the account got one from them as a Christmas present.

lagwagon 12-20-2011 10:11 AM

Thats awesome, but way to much money. I remember a game that my friend had, you would upgrade your alien or whatever and it would go out in the wild and fight another hero. Well, something like that. :)

webair 12-20-2011 10:33 AM

Remember this?

nico-t 01-05-2012 12:28 PM

that's really cool. Agree about the pricing, they could've made it a bit cheaper - they would sell alot more if they did.

MPGdevil 01-05-2012 02:40 PM

A bit pricey but a fun gadget. Might get tempted to own one because I have more than once regret I sold my old Commodore.

Still remember when my father bought the C64 and the very first game i got - Jupiter Lander.
And when I bought 'The Final Cardridge III' so I could cheat in games etc.

Those are very fond memories.

Mr Pheer 01-05-2012 06:51 PM

I think I need to re-align my 1520 disk drive, again.

The ZX81 was my first PC ... and I loved it dearly :thumbsup

But the 3.5K of RAM the Commodore had on-board was too much of a temptation for me!!
