Indonesians breed at a rate not seen anywhere else. The country is ridiculously overpopulated and crime rates through the roof. Hundreds of foreigners die in attacks which specifically target foreigners.

I've visited several places throughout Indonesia and used to do business there (Bali).

It's a mainly Muslim country so you have to expect a certain degree of "order" -- especially given the huge population... but it is a beautiful place, if you know where (and how) to look.

Has nothing to do with being a "beautiful place" or "great for surfing" and everything to do with being a brutal, oppressive regime which should neither be condoned or bolstered by tourist dollars or external business.

I bet there is some SHREDDING underground Indonesian punk because this is the real deal.

Back when Poland was still under the iron fist and music had to be government approved to be distributed (as in no punk approved) a guy in poland was able to send me some underground pressed, no label 45's and that stuff was insane.
