Manwin makes another smart move... (Xbiz News)

LOS ANGELES ? The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection has announced that Manwin has become its first Diamond Sponsor.

raymor 12-21-2011 07:22 PM

I have to respect that.

CyberHustler 12-21-2011 07:25 PM

I never realized how big Manwin really is... the fuck

AsianDivaGirlsWebDude 12-21-2011 07:38 PM

Somebody better tip Manwin off to The Pirate Bay, where Manwin advertises at:

Quote:

Another investigation has been launched into the alleged trade of child pornography by users of The Pirate Bay website.

While some at the Pirate Bay were aware of the content being traded for about two weeks, a moderator Himod, refused to remove it on the site's forum.

"I don't give a shit if you folks are upset," he said. "Me and the other moderators job are NOT to have an opinion about if it is immoral or not."
Oh well, good PR move and tax write-off, I guess.

Now if Manwin would use some of their money to fight The Pirate Bay instead of supporting it through advertising, etc., that would be an even better gesture. :2 cents:

“Manwin is proud to be the ASACP’s first and only Diamond Sponsor,”.

Cool? I guess I'm too dumb to notice the hugely positive impact of this PR statement..

moeloubani 12-21-2011 11:13 PM

So what are these huge mainstream brands they have developed ?

NewNick 12-22-2011 03:54 AM

I would also love to know why the people at ASACP think this is a good idea.

Manwin have almost single handedly removed adult veryfication from the industry.

Show me a Manwin tube where the viewers age is even questioned.

Back in the day when folks paid for their porn the credit card was a very effective tool to keep children away from porn.

Now you have a whole generation of peeps whose sexual education is gleened from tubes where nothing is taboo.

Paul Markham 12-22-2011 03:56 AM

So they now insist on 2257 info on all user uploaded material to their porn sites. Good move Manwin, keep that up. Stop letting users upload what might be porn of under age models. Thumbs up. <sarcasm>

If they really want to fight CP, making sure everything on their Tubes is legal would be a good start.

Newnick also has a point. PR operation.

700 people?????????????????

If you include affiliates. Problem is without accounts no one knows. Manwin hand's out a press release and everyone sucks it up.

SZNY 12-22-2011 04:11 AM

Well that's some great news, congrats!

Yes would be nice to find out for certain.

signupdamnit 12-22-2011 07:25 AM

They are probably scared to death of SOPA and what could happen. This is probably about PR and trying to make themselves look like something other than a bunch of criminals.

Before anyone jumps on me I'd stop giving Manwin shit if they only put up their own licensed full length material or if they enacted an honest Youtube style repeat infringer policy. I don't have any problem with tubes in and of themselves.

First I heard of them. More details please and what's the connection with Manwin?

DamianJ 12-22-2011 07:31 AM

It doesn't matter what the reason is, ASACP survives on donations, and does important work. This means they can do more of that important work. I know haters are gonna hate, but this is money to a brilliant cause. Period.
