i never DMCA Google, is it effective? I see the occassional link taken out of Google but it's one out of a thousand, seems pointless.

wasnt there a clause in there about a huge fine for sending DMCA under false retense? I know i read it in the terms of the original court case or whatever.

I have a site on there as well. I'm not going to get too upset about it because obviously when they are listing their own paysite there is some kind of mistake but I'd like to hear what Tushycash has to say about this and how it will be resolved and when.

Yes it is, google on Femanic and see position 6 to 10. Problem is that after the next ranking clutch these removed links sink down to lower positions and you have to send new DMCA requests for the new top links.

Google doesn't care if you have an AdWords account and saying so in a search related request to Google wont get you anywhere any quicker.

I had a Google search related problem that took forever to solve and contacted my AdWords contact at Google, which speeded up the process, yes.

IMO dmca-ing Google is more important than having your content removed from sites.

The die hard freeloaders know where to go, I agree with you, but those will never pay for porn anyway, and the ones who are willing to pay and don't want to spend hours on looking for free stuff, rely on the Google top 30. Of course having your content removed is the second important thing, because it frustrates the crap out of the freeloaders, I love to see them complain to each other in the bulletin boards about how they only can get your older stuff which they have already. Therefor; don't worry about your old stuff going around for free but concentrate on keeping your new stuff from the piracy sites and Google search and you'll be fine :winkwink:

to set the record straight,

a) I hired them to get rid of people who steal my content

b) I had a chat with the owner and stressed even before this came to light that the list he sent contained legit companies, I was told he will double check and make sure it doesnt happen again

c) I apologize for anyone who was hurt by this, my intention when hiring a company to remove stolen content wasn't to get legit sites off google let alone my own sites.

d) the guy behind pornpolice is a legit guy, everyone makes mistakes, hes helped me and many other webmasters remove lots of stolen content, I am upset this happened and I made it very very clear.

e) someone here mentioned tushycash redirect etc, please show me where we do that.

Happy holidays everyone, and I sure hope they can get things sorted out.

f) The guy is going to contact google and tell them he screwed up and that he would like to cancel the complaint right?
