Who is PornoPolice.net?

And why is he sending complaints to Google which make no sense at all?

http://www.chillingeffects.org/dmca5...oticeID=167948

We are in there 2 times with these 2 links:
http://board.freeones.com/showthread...nn#post4256701

http://board.freeones.com/showthread...-blondie-girl-
from-CFNMPLUS

This really doesn't make much sense :2 cents:

Please correct me if I am wrong but do they believe everything they see in google is pirate?

Roald 12-22-2011 12:12 AM

As you can see there are sites in there like rabbits reviews and others who are completely legit.

Robbie 12-22-2011 12:36 AM

LOL...they had Tushy Cash's own affiliate page describing the billing for the site taken down:
http://www.tushycash.com/cfnmplus.html

How the heck did they do that?

Nasty 12-22-2011 12:41 AM

That's a crock of shit, lots of thieves on that list but also quite a few ligit sites who are promoting the sites. Sponsors actually believe that these types of operations benefit their programs? Ill be removing tushycash from all my sites rather than risk a google spanking.

There are companies who actually do know what they are doing.

This one just scares me. I can only hope TushyCash knows about this and tells them to start doing a proper job or stop doing it :2 cents:

i see one of mine of course 100% legit sites down, traffic get down past week, almost no hits, have been thinking google dance, but looks like now i know the reason. will do my best to make this guys "work" harder, starting with dmca everywhere. i am a peaceful person, but if i see a bitch, the bitch must go!

DamageX 12-22-2011 04:18 AM

The guy's an idiot. He sent me a false DMCA complaint to remove a thread on my board because his "client wanted it removed". Isn't it some kind of boo-boo to send false DMCA complaints?

they seem to be the ones who hired them yes. Dont think pornopolice IS tushycash.

AdultEUhost 12-22-2011 06:23 AM

wtf? porno police? really?

Pornopat 12-22-2011 06:41 AM

I see my blog is on there and that page contains a review of cfnmplus with the only visual item being a banner.

I am going to assume this is a rogue affiliate.
Tushycash would not be so silly to work with a dmca agency nobody ever heard off and not check on what they were doing.
Right?

Pornopat 12-22-2011 06:44 AM

Jesus.. You see who you're working with TushyCash?

Mutt 12-22-2011 06:54 AM

look at the price he's charging - $1,999 per year per site. i was quoted much less by a one of the top DMCA 'removal' companies in the industry.

Fletch XXX 12-22-2011 06:54 AM

wasnt there a clause in there about a huge fine for sending DMCA under false retense? I know i read it in the terms of the original court case or whatever.

signupdamnit 12-22-2011 07:07 AM

I have a site on there as well. I'm not going to get too upset about it because obviously when they are listing their own paysite there is some kind of mistake but I'd like to hear what Tushycash has to say about this and how it will be resolved and when.

lucas131 12-22-2011 07:21 AM

AdultKing 12-22-2011 09:23 AM

There are sites on that list that do nothing else but provide domain information. This looks like a frivolous DMCA notice targeting anything with a keyword in it.

Yes.

But I doubt it will be necessary here.

You can file your counter notices here guys:
http://www.google.com/dmca.html#counter

Click radio button "Other"
then click "Google Sites"

Under: Please specify the nature of your request
Click: "I would like to file a counter notice to reinstate content that was removed due to an alleged copyright violation"
and proceed.

Thats a start I think :thumbsup

Yes it is, google on Femanic and see position 6 to 10. Problem is that after the next ranking clutch these removed links sink down to lower positions and you have to send new DMCA requests for the new top links.

Roald why don't you just contact Google about it, they will ban this guy. Setup an AdWords account, then they will help you faster :)

Precisely, while some of you may see DMCAing search engines as ineffective. In the end it does help out with SEO of your site.

Seems whatever method they are using to grab the links is asinine to say the least. Anyone else notice the odd verbiage in the DMCA?

I hope you are joking.

Google doesn't care if you have an AdWords account and saying so in a search related request to Google wont get you anywhere any quicker.

EukerVoorn 12-22-2011 10:17 AM

I had a Google search related problem that took forever to solve and contacted my AdWords contact at Google, which speeded up the process, yes.

IMO dmca-ing Google is more important than having your content removed from sites.

Not entirely. From what we've found most of the "'n00bs' use search engines while the more experienced already know what they're doing and where to go for it.

lol I know exactly what you mean and could write a book about this. The die hard freeloaders know where to go, I agree with you, but those will never pay for porn anyway, and the ones who are willing to pay and don't want to spend hours on looking for free stuff, rely on the Google top 30. Of course having your content removed is the second important thing, because it frustrates the crap out of the freeloaders, I love to see them complain to each other in the bulletin boards about how they only can get your older stuff which they have already. Therefor; don't worry about your old stuff going around for free but concentrate on keeping your new stuff from the piracy sites and Google search and you'll be fine :winkwink:

Robbie 12-22-2011 10:50 AM

DMCA'ing Google is VERY important.

When someone googles "claudia marie" I want MY site to come up first. Not a pirate site.

That can be the difference between a new longtime member and a lost sale.

EscortBiz 12-22-2011 11:00 AM

thanks peter romero for giving me a heads up on this

to set the record straight,

a) I hired them to get rid of people who steal my content

b) I had a chat with the owner and stressed even before this came to light that the list he sent contained legit companies, I was told he will double check and make sure it doesnt happen again

c) I apologize for anyone who was hurt by this, my intention when hiring a company to remove stolen content wasn't to get legit sites off google let alone my own sites.

d) the guy behind pornpolice is a legit guy, everyone makes mistakes, hes helped me and many other webmasters remove lots of stolen content, I am upset this happened and I made it very very clear.

e) someone here mentioned tushycash redirect etc, please show me where we do that.

Happy holidays everyone, and I sure hope they can get things sorted out.

Need on that notice, he's an idiot who is doing nothing but exposing you to liability and making it harder for you to get content removed as people learn to ignore "dmca notices" that mention your name.
