yup fuck godaddy. transferring my domain portfolio to registerfly as we speak.

Hover.com is offering 10% off domain transfers with code SOPA. This includes their "transfer valet" service, in which they take care of all the tedious tasks that go along with moving a domain to a new registrar.

We have encountered more scam sites courtesy of hover than I can count. No wonder they hate SOPA.

why people hate SOPA now, and they sad bad stuff about DMCA?

What tedious tasks are these?

I have transferred many domains from godaddy to namecheap. It is a simple process even without a "valet"

1. Cancel Privacy protection (a valet couldn't do that without your domainsbyproxy password)

2. Request authorisation code from godaddy (a valet couldn't do that with your godaddy password)

3. Select transfer domains in namecheap, enter domain name and enter authorisation code from godaddy email and pay for transfer. (a valet couldn't do that without your email password)

4. Click a link in an email from namecheap confirming.

5. Wait few days.

That's where Obama sheep aggregate. I'm surprised someone that dim witted would even know what a domain name is :2 cents:

I guess many people have more than 3 domains.
Thus making the process more laborious.
