You don't need to be an attorney to understand the liability as well as the fact that when big companies sue to protect their marks, they go after everyone they possibly can to make a point.

My brother used to work for a local company that repaired damaged shipping skids/pallets. When he first started working there, the company name was "Skids R Us." Toys 'R' Us then threatened legal action, and they had to change their name. I can't remember what they changed it to (I was a kid at the time), but I suggested "Skids B Us."
