Sadly, there was a couple of clients who have had become compromised on their nodes, and we've had to track them down. Once we found the first person, we thought that was the end of it. Powered back up the server and found there was more than one.

VPS is a shared resource, and if someone is compromised (various reasons) or is doing something nefarious, sadly it can effect a whole server and clients. It would not matter who or where you host in that regard should something like this happen. The result would be the same. You have to track them down, and eliminate them.

While it's unfortunate when it happens, a shared resource client can be effected by their neighbors.

Yeah, I know that, however my server is still down, loosing traffic, loosing sales etc. And support not responding.

Support is working on resolving this, and would update you once the issue has been completely resolved. GFY is not the support ticket system, or best place to get updates if that is what you seek. You need to submit and communicate through the support ticket system where those working on your issue can actually answer you directly.

Yes that is so true, but when they are no updating you or giving information you seek other alternatives :) Common sense? :)

The good thing is that it seems to be getting back now, hope it stays this way so I can enjoy your fantastic services (and I do honestly think this :) )

Unfortunately, it is not always easy to track down nefarious users. Especially if there is more than one, and hundreds of clients across many different servers. It takes time. While I can understand your feelings and being upset. You had staff working on this the whole time to get resolved.

What I mean about bumping multiple sales threads is, I can ask the support guys what is going on, and they are going to tell me the same thing they would be telling you in a support ticket. There is a process to tracking down the abuse, and eliminating it, which is not sped up just because of a forum post.

That said, I am glad it sounds like your server/node is coming back online. :thumbsup
