Lakers back on track!
I gotta say the past couple games the Lakers are looking like the championship team of old. After losses to Golden State and New Jersey I was sure things weren't gonna look up with Phoenix, Sac Town, Utah and Indiana on tap. I was wrong... they went out and showed that they can beat top caliber teams, so for all you doubters out there (which almost included me) .......
THE LAKERS ARE BACK! :thumbsup 4 in a row baby! |

Damn I miss hearing him call Lakers games! |
Chick was cool as hell. Still hate the lakers. A couple wins and getting to .500 does not mean they are back...just means they are better than they were.
:BangBang: LAKERS |
Uh.... there 9th in an 8 team playoff race. lol
|
The little guys in purple suck... Just like the Rams... expected to come out and win it again and choke it all away.
Go King's!!!!!! |
ChrisH,
True, but the season hasn't even hit the All Star Break yet. Look for the second half of the season to be all Lakers, they will make the playoffs, no problem and what seed they get won't matter because once in the playoffs we all know that the Lakers have the most experience and best record for the past 3 years. Dallas? Sac Town? BRING EM ON! T - Bone, As for choking... those Queens... errrr I mean Kings sure do know how to do that. 3 times they choked in the playoffs and this year will be no different. I like how the Lakers just kicked the crap out of them too on Friday. That game was awesome. :thumbsup |
Go LAKERS ,
Everybody knows they are best team. They'll prove it once again . Poor Phil , not a space for rings anymore. And this guy will help him much http://www.astronomija.org/shaq.jpg He He |

The past is the past. Cant use that to predict what will happen this year. Last couple seasons games dont count for this season, so why even bring them up. Fact is that they are hurting this season. Cant even beat Houston. My prediction.....early playoff departure and more crappy Shaquille O'neal movies.
:fart |
The Blazers are going to tear it up. They kept going without Wallace (even beat Dallas) and now he is back they are really ripping it up. They've got the depth to go the distance. :thumbsup

You are right a couple wins doesn't mean shit. But lets look back a little further. Sat 28 at Denver Win 112-93 12-19 Sun 29 Toronto Win 104-88 13-19 Sat 4 at Phoenix Loss 93-107 13-20 Sun 5 Phoenix Win 109-97 14-20 Tue 7 Seattle Win 119-98 15-20 Fri 10 Cleveland Win 115-99 16-20 Sun 12 Miami Win 106-81 17-20 Wed 15 at New Orleans Win 90-82 18-20 Fri 17 at Houston Loss (OT) 104-108 18-21 Mon 20 LA Clippers Win 96-92 19-21 Wed 22 Golden State Loss 110-114 19-22 Fri 24 New Jersey Loss 83-89 19-23 Wed 29 at Phoenix Win 99-90 20-23 Fri 31 at Sacramento Win 124-113 21-23 Sat 1 Utah Win 99-87 22-23 Tue 4 at Indiana Win 97-94 23-23 Since the loss to the Kings on Xmas 12-4 is a pretty damn good record. And the losses to Houston, New Jersey, and Golden State were games they could have won. Trust me when I say no team in this league is looking down on the Lakers. It is going to be fun as hell to watch that is for sure! |

Oh but it does!!!! Playoff experience is a huge factor, and the Lakers have an abundance of that. When it comes down to it, you gotta know how to react in the pressure cooker that is the Playoffs... not too many teams can do that like the Lakers. As for the last Houston game... the refs fucked us with a flagrant foul they later overturned that totally shifted the momentum of the game. If you like we can put down a friendly bet on Lakers and their Playoff run this year. Oh... and my condolences about the Raiders, just like the past... they lost in the post season. :Graucho |

Games that someone should have won doesnt mean anything. Raiders should have beat Tampa, Yankees should have won the Series, GregN should have been able to get a woman in the past year. Playoffs will be good this year since there is no clear favorite, with or without Haq, I mean Shaq. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |

Sometimes these NBA teams think they can turn it on when they want and it's just not there. |
Lakers will keep it together and win another championship.
Remember the 1st championship for the Lakers under this team? http://www.d-moneyshow.com/videos/lakerswin.ram Lakers baby! |
ChrisH,
I feel for ya being a Knick fan... I am a NY Mets and NY Rangers fan and I know what its like. What teams you like in MLB and NHL? PaulSweet, Those Blazers are amazing I'd have to say, they are the suprise team in the West. Mo Cheeks turned them from the Jail Blazers back to the Trail Blazers. |
My philosiphy is this... When they get on Kobe for shooting too much he can do anything he wants. He leads the leage triple doubles. But we dont always play as well when he is going after boards and assists. When he gets aggressive scoring is whent he lakers sore.. In his last 6 games he has scored 38,40,42,35,37... We are beating the best teams in basketball at their house in those games. I think they need to let the best all around player in basketball go SCORE.. Kobe rules! He means more then people know. But dont get me wrong. The big fellow is important too. We need both to play well because the rest of the teams isnt exactly all star quality.. Although some have been stepping up big
Go Lakers.. We are back!!! |

Wow, that vid ruled... brought back some great memories. :thumbsup Maybe one of these days I will get to see the Lakers live at Staples instead of just on the TV. |

Rangers :( I think the Mets will be much improved this year though. As for the Rangers, they are playing a finacially bankrupt team tonight. However, they are number one overall in the conference. Go fucking figure :1orglaugh |

Yeah.. I am hoping the Mets do alot better than they did last year when I had such high expectations with all the offseason moves. Ottawa is fricking crazy. They aren't getting paid but they win win win. I like that Hossa kid.... he is awesome. Rangers are up! 2-1! Lets hope that sticks! :thumbsup |
