Affiliate program owners... Do you send your top affiliates holiday gifts?
 

I made a program BANK this year and got zip

back in the day I got gift baskets from cecash and some others and I wasn't that big of an affiliate.. Right now my eggs are in the ccbill basket and I'm just happy to make sales with them.

I'm just surprised they didn't even send out cards. Its a US based company that is unquestionably generating untold millions

up till 2008 it was great (xboxes, macbooks, watches, baskets, ipods, etc etc) after 2008 not soo much anymore lol

We did get a few cards, cookies and champagne though

Usually we do but this year decided to wait until February for the Tranny Awards and try to get some of them out for it - and then send them swag after either from the show or other goodies.

We send out Amazon gift cards. Everyone seems to appreciate them, webmasters can get whatever they want with them.

Pre-2008 I used to get:

Free Internext Passes
Free Internext flights/rooms
Free iPods
Free hosting
Free Stats Remote for a year
Free Amazon gift certificates
Free sports tickets
Free swag like t-shirts, hats, cups, mouse pads
Free laptop
Free time with a designer

This year... A few cards... a gift certificate... that is about it.

This year I only got a card or two.

We did send some gifts to our affiliates, but seems they don't appreciate them as much.
I even saw someone posting on Facebook and asking if he should say thanks to sponsors for gifts or if they are suppose to send a gift.

Even w/ less gifts going out, I suppose its an improvement over years prior when some programs weren't even sending checks :2 cents:

Gammae did sent some of the best chocolates ever. They even added a personalized hand written card with it.

i got a gift basket from program3 for my birthday back when i was doing $20,000/month in joins.

thats pretty much the only thing ive ever received in my 6 years of adult webmastery

We sent crakmedia thermos mugs to all our top affiliates with a xmas card this year ;)

I got a book on How to become rich, from one of the cpa programs I am with. Was a nice surprise as I wasn't expecting anything.

We got a Swurve card with certificate in there. Michelle is awesome

I used to get gift baskets from a sponsor every year. Now that I don't do as much affiliate work and just do mostly writing, I get a card now lol.
