Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Bolt Thrower, but also been listening to a lot of Morbid Angel lately...

I often lump grindcore in with death metal too

clutch is one of those ass kicking bands thart never wears off.

Clutch kicks ass. I was also going to mention the company band, but that's already been taken care of. The video for Buring Beards is epic.
