If you're going to run a forum, you have to do it right. A little extra work to make sure spammers ain't spammin is part of the game... the benefits are amazing. The only way to stop phpbb spam is to manually approve the first posts and create custom q&a on registration page... the questions should not be simple "what color is the sky" shit and the theme of the questions should match the theme of your site to make it easier for actual human registrants. If you need some help/ideas then holla at me [email protected] I have a lot of phpbb experience.

If you have enough users and activities, appoint moderators. Motivated status-driven mods do quite a good job of policing the community.

i got hit my spammers., so i disabled the registration., by entering the wrong recaptcha key .lol

not captch shows up so no registrations at all.,

Our phpbb forums have 0 spam and 0 anti-spam mods installed. Everything you need is already built in.
