Spain approved and implements new anti-piracy law
 
The spanish government has now fully approved their Sustainable Economy Law. The law will give a committee full power to shut down or block piracy sites and their providers, within 10 days after complaints have been received by rightholders.

I don't know the exact details but the change in law will obviously overrule earlier court rulings and a dedicated panel will speed up the process.

The problem with due process is that it takes time and therefore the copyright owners are in the same boat that they were in before when it comes time to play Wac-a-Mole with the pirates :(
