Any ideas for a short film or commercial?
 

I got the film bug, cameras charged, lights out. Just need something fun to try and put together.

Yeah - Shoot a 'Spot Cleaning' viral movie.

Find a car thats filthy, and film yourself cleaning just one door,or one tyre and wheel to pro standard... Then hide and film the owners 'WTF' reaction when he comes back...

I have notebooks full of ideas for shorts...full scripts even, but I don't like to share.

That's not a bad idea - you could do a whole series of them.

You should look at vimeo. You may get an idea or some inspiration by seeing some of the audio or video there.

Well I visualised it as a fast paced kinda thing.. You know, dirty car, guy runs over, cleans hubcap and blackens tyre - All speeded up - Winks at camera and runs off... Then the owner appears and stands there saying 'What the fuck? with a look of confusion on his face, as he shows his G/F / wife / Pal etc... Then another car is dirty and the guy runs up again...

Put a couple of 'staged' once in amongst them, make it about 3 mins long, do it quick and snappy and do say ten cars...

Finish with all the owners laughing as they are shown the hidden cameras...

If you are looking for somethng challenging and to kill some time, maybe try relaying a ll or part of your story in reverse. It has a cool look to it.
