Traffic-Out - Are they OK ?
 

As usual I put money on the table first, ask questions later.

What is your opinion about Traffic-Out.com ? Are they ok ? Or is it a scam ?

I've just bought from them 10k hits of Quality Paysite traffic, and after I've made the payment I didn't receive any response (before the payment I was having a little email chat with Hunter).

It's been a while since I've used them but Traffic-Out has always been considered to be top-notch.
I'm pretty sure it's just a one-man operation so it can take a little while to get a response I'd think. Definitely not a scam though.

I have another few questions (Hunter replies after quite some time)... that I've searched answers for and couldn't find anything.

How does this work ? If I've bought 10K from T-O when will my bundle expire ? After I'll make the 10k hits or after a month ?

Also I've been looking at my analytics and I've seen the traffic from T-O which btw for now is ~ 4 UV's / 10min (isn't that a little low ?) and what I've observed, is that 1 or 2 visitors stay on the landing page for 10-15 minutes without navigating anywhere on the site and after that they just "leave". Is this quality traffic ?

What number of hits do you think I should have in the first couple of hours ?

Well you can't tell anything from 4 visitors.
Quality traffic simply means that the visitor intentionally clicked on a text link to get to your site so he is interested in that subject. If you choose the wrong text links, people are going to bounce out if they see your site isn't related to what they clicked on.

Also, if you bought 10k hits, you'll get 10k hits but it does take longer with TO since they're not forcing blind clicks to you. It's probably better to just have the traffic slow and steady for a new site that's building.

yep his traffic is clicked text link traffic and not forced skimmed traffic. So it depends on the kind of site and the text link used. You'll get your 10k hits, just won't be as fast as if you were buying blind skimmed traffic

@stonehammer that website is yours ? Because I want to thank you for it - that site made me buy traffic from TO and I've learned quite a few very interesting things from it ! Great job !

Definitely no scam, popunder, blind, skimmed traffic gets delivered quicker but isn't targeted as well so usually good to boost trades, increase alexa, set cookies etc...

All of his traffic is clicked text links so slower delivery but has a higher chance of actual sales as more targeted. I have compiled a list of sources I buy from since 2002 that works for me and he is one that has never been removed from my list, nice guy as well.

Most of the sources I buy from since 2002 where I see a positive ROI all deliver slow and are targeted descriptive text links, have some places I advertise where I get even less like just a few hits a day but the ROI is there so small numbers with results can be better than high numbers of less quality traffic. :thumbsup

Well guys, I'm back with some numbers and they don't look good :( !

I have about 500 new visits from traffic-in and retnuh but with bounce rates of ~ 72%. It's really not ok !

Before buying traffic I had 200 new visits with 32 % bounce rate.

One odd thing is that traffic that comes from TO seems scripted - what I mean is that 70% or more of the visitors, come and stay on the landing page for about 10 minutes and after that they leave the site without navigating anywhere else on it !

I think that I've chosen a good text for a video chat website that represents reality so... I don't know what to say about this...

What do you think ?

That's pretty much just the name of your site. There's a decent chance someone is clicking on that just because they're curious as to what it is rather than actually interested in the subject because there really isn't a subject in the text.
This works the best for niche things like, say, BDSM Asian Lesbian Cams or whatever. If that is what your site is offering then you want visitors that are specifically interested in that.
If your site doesn't have a particular niche then it's hard to get quality traffic like that. Cams themselves aren't really a niche, they're more of a medium.

is there any way for you to filter the models - big boob all on 1 page, something like that ?

and also have bigger thumbnails

@stonehammer, unfortunately I cannot do anything about the looks of the website except its colors :(.... It's a VideoSecrets Whitelabel. I thought of those things also, and I've talked with Matt from VS - he said they will launch soon a new WhiteLabel design with categories and other goodies. I'll wait & see....

if the bounce rate is still too much....might want to consider pausing the campaign first

Yes I think I'm going to pause the campaign... anyway now I see that from 5 jan. started some "shy" organic traffic to enter my website (15 visits).
