Advice on selling downloads of my video content?
 

I produce my own niche-content videos and my DVD sales are slowing down so I'm wondering if it's realistic to think about selling full-movie downloads from my sites. I have most of my content up on Hotmovies and AEBN and I'm doing OK with those, but I'm not interested in doing their flat-rate Download-to-own deals - the prices are just too low.

I know there are a lot of different issues here and I'm happy to hear opinions on any of them. Are here companies offering download services - so they take care of distribution and also, hopefully, whatever security/anti-piracy measures are possible? Should I do it all myself, and if so is there helpful software?

Anybody out there doing it? I'd love to hear about any experience any of you have had with this. How did you set it up; what are the pros and cons, etc.
