not in theory but in your own experiences, where would you say you have done the best in making those solid contacts and deals (and/or even meeting your now good friends) when you are at shows like xBiz or Internext or webmaster Access?

Private meetings. Get a private room, a little business suite, and hold private meetings.

I second this. I've gained quite a few from the main bars in whatever venue you are in as well..

I've made my best deals in exotic locations on invite-only gatherings, and on private jets. I dont normaly go to the shows but since I live in Vegas I'll attend a few business dinners while the shows are here.

I gotta ask about your signature - is that a script running to get the location?!?!

For me, I'd have to say the way I meet most people and make deals isn't at the parties (too noisy) or the showroom floor (what showroom floor nowdays?) but rather the hotel lobby or common outdoor areas of the convention venues.

The most business is done in the BP4L Bukkake Party Room Suite.

Circle bars, afterparties and suite parties. I wasn't even aware there was a show floor anymore, I thought that was scrapped years ago.

Back in the day. It was booked meetings prior to the shows. The random guys you meet at shows usually are talking BS so as not to get pressured. It's all "I'll talk to my partner when I get back." type of answers.
