showroom floor or the parties - where have you made your best contacts n deals?
not in theory but in your own experiences, where would you say you have done the best in making those solid contacts and deals (and/or even meeting your now good friends) when you are at shows like xBiz or Internext or webmaster Access?
The showroom floor or the parties? M.Ghost |
Long-term; parties. nuf said.

Private meetings. Get a private room, a little business suite, and hold private meetings.

I've made my best deals in exotic locations on invite-only gatherings, and on private jets. I dont normaly go to the shows but since I live in Vegas I'll attend a few business dinners while the shows are here.

For me, I'd have to say the way I meet most people and make deals isn't at the parties (too noisy) or the showroom floor (what showroom floor nowdays?) but rather the hotel lobby or common outdoor areas of the convention venues.

The most business is done in the BP4L Bukkake Party Room Suite.

There is no show floor any longer, so parties.
|
the lobby bar which usually leads to a bunch of people going to dinner then meeting up at a party.

Some are cool and won't try and pitch you to move to them. Those are the people to hangout with.. |
Circle bars, afterparties and suite parties. I wasn't even aware there was a show floor anymore, I thought that was scrapped years ago.

A mixture..bonds are often made in the parties and then they continue into the networking sessions where the actual deals are made.
|
Oh please, I know all of you make your contacts/business deals while snorting lines of cocaine of a hooker's back when you're fucking her.

Back in the day. It was booked meetings prior to the shows. The random guys you meet at shows usually are talking BS so as not to get pressured. It's all "I'll talk to my partner when I get back." type of answers.
Yep, the guy run's a one man band and his partner is his dog. Rajah and I had a nice walk today. :1orglaugh |
