What's up with Hostgladiator?
 

Doesn't work for about 8-10 hours already, no note was sent. Does anybody know what is going on?

Please back-up all of your account data and make arrangements to have it moved to a new host by Jan. 6, 2012 as we will be taking all servers offline at that time. We recommend HostGator.com as a great host to move to.

There was a thread around Jan 1st or 2nd about them closing down I believe.

they are gone. you were supposed to make back ups and move sorry.

I always saw them advertising here, feel bad for the people that started hosting with them since they didn't last long at all.

Pays to read GFY every now and again. I've not hosted with them, and even I knew they sent 5 day notices. Sorry to hear none reached you. Just start making arrangements with another host asap. You ain't gonna see hostgladiator server come back up.

Holy shit! I just lost 5 good sites, one of them was on the first page of google. I didn't get that note on Jan 1. WTF?

Yes I saw the thread and talks on GFY about them closing up shop. Let me know if you would like to discuss your hosting options.

How long was Host Gladiator around for? It wasn't that long was it? I'm no hosting business expert but if I was going to build a web hosting company I would make sure I had plenty of reserved funds and I wouldn't expect to turn a profit for at least 1 year.

Maybe try giving them a call, might aswel give it a try.

I have to Completely agree , Either keep them yourself or have a thirdparty do them for you

I go through on the 1st each month and make backups of new sites and then I cycle through the old sites and make new backups. It's just part of the work flow. Hard drives fail. I have seen it happen too many times.
