Yes we can organise that for you. It's all in the PHP management thing.

1) You designed it yourself - the main thing you get wrong is your use of weird fonts and how you make them almost unreadable with the funny colours. Look at a real poster ad, see how the text pops. You need to work out how to do that, or pay a designer

2) There is no call to action

3) There is nothing attention grabbing or interesting, it's just lots of pictures of girls

Alternate ideas:

1) You holding up an empty wallet saying "I'm broke and need to feed the dog"

2) You lying on a sun bed in a hot country sipping a cool drink saying "You can be like me, buy my content and see what the good life tastes like"

3) Have a really old vintage computer picture and you there like Kent Brockman saying "Hi. I'm Paul Markham, you may remember me from such boards as GFY. Well now I'm selling it all. Selling the lot. Selling it cheap."

4) Use one of the apps that make a picture out of 1000s of little pictures. This idea is not as amusing, but certainly shows the depth of content you have.

And add in appropriate calls to action.

If you are going to spam your mailing list, obviously make the text machine readable and don't just send a jpeg, but you know that.

I scratched one of my news lens, well the dog scratch it while we were playing and was thinking about a new "begging" advert. Not going that route again here. :1orglaugh

It is to spam the mailing list and it will be a Jpeg. Text will be as normal in the text box. Maybe time to redesign the whole thing.

Fine, your choice. The point is, not to just do an advert with some pictures of girls. There is no stand out. We work in porn. We've all seen pics of girls.

You have a USP. You. You should use that. Not doing so is mental, imho. You have a really strong persona on the boards that everyone knows. Make the most of that. Everyone that sells pics of naked girls uses pics of naked girls. It is VERY dull. You have your board persona and, as your attorney, that is what I recommend you use.

It will get people's attention, it will give you stand out, it will make people laugh. People like to do business with people they like. Make them like you and make your ad stand out in the inbox. That is all marketing really is.

Yes. If you send a jpeg, as you usually do, it will get delivered to the spam folder. Spam checking software wants to see machine readable text. You need to design like it is 1990, which should suit you. Use tables, not CSS. Have an image, that is an image. Then have text that is text. The spam software sees this and treats it more like a legit mail than if it was 100% jpeg.

There is nothing interesting about, eye catching, no call to action, and it really wouldn't work as an email.

did you shoot all those girls?

I'm not really a designer, I just usually provide wireframes, images and copy to a client's designer who then makes it pretty.

I'm booked up this week, then away at a magic convention for the weekend, but could give it a go early next week if you want.

Well we can get a designer to do it, on a similar deal. With your instructions and your and mine approval of the work. Or I can just pay him, which would be cheaper. :thumbsup

TCLGirls looking at it, most of them. The good ones Eva and I shared. So I may not have shot the actual sets. Eva was well trained in set shooting, her problem was getting a good performance out of a girl on video. So I shot a lot of the videos. Also we sometimes shot together, me on film and Eva on digital. Girls would ask her if she was sleeping with me? They didn't know we were married. Eva said "All the time." Confused some girls.

One wanted to have sex with me and was disappointed when Eva turned up at the house. She didn't think we lived together or even married. She wasn't disappointed for long. :winkwink:

Katka was great at shooting more stylish work, not to the level of the top guys, and Jana shot great amateur. Having a team we could mix and match shooters to models.

I miss those days still no worries. I miss the 60s and being a hippy, going to mind blowing concerts or rock festivals, taking mind blowing drugs, wife swapping parties and the orgies, shooting the Astral Blue stuff.

Still good to have things like that to look back on and reminiscence. You all miss 2005. :1orglaugh

You should seriously send it out. Well, do the graphics a little bit better, but keep the concept. It's eye catching, humorous, appeals to the reader's vanity (that of being a cheap cunt), and to the point!
