Programmers - prise idea??
First of all, i know shit about programming. But i belive what i need is kind of basic stuff if you know what you're doing.
I need an admin area where i can add models, and all kinds of stuff, like hair, breast size, age, if she use twitter/facebook or not and things like that. the script should also create a new page for every model i add, and use the name of that model ... like mydomain dot com/name_lastname dot php And i also need a sortable list, where surfers can sort by all things i added in my admin area, and visit any of the models they like. How much would something like this cost me? |

I can make it for you for $40,
hit me up at [email protected] or ICQ 632654405 |
i just dnt understand, people willing to spend $50 on lunch but want to give pennies to people to code something for them. take care of your coder and he will take care of you.
lol |
100$ if you want to make it properly.

Yet, it's the cheap and free ones that's always hacked. |
I lol'd @ this thread :1orglaugh
anyway, if interested, we can make it for $750. The good news is you'll have a fully functional site professionally designed and that will work for years to come. And admin area alone won't do anything for you. Nor will a script alone. You need the features + the implementation of those features + the layout for those features to be implemented + the SEO for the pages. And these are the most basic needs you may have. :2 cents: |

Hey Harvey, don't forget about Software Quality Assurance.
Include to cost quality analysts, managers and testers. |
It sounds like you are describing a system we built a few years ago. The orginal client paid about $1600 for the development. The second webmaster paid $500 for an enhanced copy. The third, $350.
That's how to get it done right without breaking the bank - find one like ours that already been developed and well TESTED. With our system the user can search on any combination of attributes, so they can find young redheads, or skinny blondes. You can either show them the gallery or let them add the zip to their cart to purchase sets. |
LOL @ your prices.
The script is easy to make for any experienced programmer. Pineapplez, dont hire these fuckers, they will just rip you off. $750 for this shit, lol. Do you also charge $300 for a 468x80 banner? Hire a programmer for china, give him $35 and you'll get what you need. |

hopefully you took my advice and experimented with zen-cart. I only have 30 years software experience to draw on, so maybe I'm wrong about that high opinion of the product. but maybe not wrong too;-)

This is an easy script, but you also get what you pay for.
I do not code anything for under $40/hr minimum and this would take probably half a day in the $240 to $400 range. It's not the main features that take a substantial amount of time, it's all the small things that support and bring it together. The setup, the testing, the confirming, the quality assurance, etc.. I think $250-400 is a fair price for a customized script like this, it also depends on your needs, you may be fine with straight up PHP in your views ( html ) or maybe you need a simple template system so you can bounce around the html with no problems designing or editing around the php code. Majority of people on here have played with copy/pasting snippets and think they are coders, or believe that slapping together a piece of shit will do. This is not some fucking conspiracy when others will tell you that you need to pay for quality and PROTECTION. Enjoy the $30 script for a couple weeks until your host hits you up pissed off that your server was hacked to shit and damaged. This is just honest advice and I believe it to be a fair price. If you can find an honest and quality coder, the hourly rate is fair for both sides. By the way, I am not accepting new clients at this time so my advice / comments are truly to your benefit, I am not trying to sell you on anything. Good luck. |

HTML Batch Editor by LucerSoft
Programmers File Editor by Alan Philips, Lancaster University UK irfanview openoffice realplayer Plus Pandora (free or not) angry birds (free or not) then theres Norton Antivirus and Windows 7 and the latest outlook. you dont always get what you pay for. sometimes you get way way more. othertimes you've paid way too much. And there are instances where you get exactly what you paid for - any free ebay tool for instance. |
