Staying with a friend on a couch, so me meal would be Whole Foods based, and I'm getting a cab ride each day easy... Still will have $20 left.

Whole Foods, you will for sure need more then 100, that place is a rip off.

I love New York. It qualifies to spend 3 days and pay a ticket price.
Been there like many times but I miss it. So basically you are right,
walking around, visiting 'my' places, taking pictures, meeting couple
other buddies, thinking why did I left years ago and did not settle there...
